What We Do
The Braveheart Rapid Response Team is dedicated to providing swift, compassionate, and highly adaptable peer support to first responders, veterans and service members who are struggling, or are impacted by traumatic or critical incidents.

Built on the powerful foundation of peer-to-peer support, our Rapid Response Team consists of fellow veterans and first responders who understand the unique experiences and struggles our community faces. We stand ready to offer immediate, meaningful assistance to those in need, delivering hope, understanding, and solidarity when it matters most.
Veterans Response Team
Our Veterans Response Team is dedicated to meeting veterans wherever they are—from park benches to hospital beds—providing compassionate, uplifting support and encouragement during life's most challenging moments.

If you are, or know a veteran who is struggling right now and would like someone to talk to, please click on the RED message box at the bottom of your screen. We would love to talk with you.
Critical Incident Response Team
The Critical Incident Response Team provides immediate and ongoing peer support to first responders impacted by "Bad Calls". We respond quickly whenever someone may need confidential, compassionate support—whether immediately following the incident, or days later, as lingering effects of stress, grief, or trauma may emerge. Our goal is to make direct, in-person contact as soon as possible, offering a safe space for honest conversation with peers who truly understand the job. In multi-agency or large-scale incidents, we deploy team members to as many involved departments, stations, or locations as possible. We adapt to each situation, meeting people where they are—on scene, at the station, hospital, or off-duty.
Early outreach reduces isolation, validates experiences, and supports resilience. Follow-up debriefings and resources are arranged as needed. If you need support, send us a message. We would love to talk with you.
Referral to Treatment
In some cases, a veteran or first responder may require a higher level of care beyond peer support. When our team identifies that an individual would benefit from professional mental health or substance use disorder treatment, we assist by providing confidential referrals to trusted, qualified providers or treatment facilities. We understand the hesitation many feel about seeking formal help—concerns about privacy, stigma, or simply not knowing where to begin.
Our approach is guided by care, confidentiality and respect. If you’re struggling and unsure of your next steps, please reach out to us. We would be honored to discuss available resources, answer questions, and help connect you with the support you need in a way that feels safe and manageable. Your wellbeing matters to us, and we’re here to help every step of the way.
